Stella McCartney Shares Touching Tribute to Tom Ford's Family after the Passing of His Husband – AmoMama

As the fashion industry mourns the death of Tom Ford’s husband, Richard Buckley, Stella McCartney paid a heartfelt tribute to the late fashion mogul and his family. She did this via Instagram with a photo of her and Buckley.
Richard Buckley died at 72, after a long career in the fashion industry. He was a fashion journalist and editor who wrote for Vogue Italia and New York magazine. He also worked as an editor for Vanity Fair and other top fashion magazines.
Following his painful passing, Stella McCartney, the godmother to Tom Ford and Buckley’s son Jack, honored the late journalist’s memory with a selfie on her Instagram page.

McCartney shared the snap and a heartfelt epistle that saw Buckley’s fantastic character. She wrote about the late American fashion editor in the most beautiful way and how his death has left fans and friends heartbroken.

McCartney’s post featured her and Buckley smiling at the camera. The grieving godmother sympathized with Ford and Jack as she referred to Buckley as a “gentleman” and acknowledged his “passion for knowledge.” McCartney also wrote:
“We love you Richard and we will miss you so very much. Your fight has ended but you will always live on in our hearts.”

Former fashion editor for Vogue and New York Times, William Norwich has also paid tribute to Buckley. The former editor reminisced on the memories spent with the fashion icon and sent his love to Ford and their son.
According to a statement from Ford’s representatives, the famous fashion journalist died “peacefully” in Los Angeles with Ford and their son Jack by his side.

Ford and Buckley met in 1986 at a fashion show. Ford revealed during an interview that the chemistry between him and Buckley began the first time they met in an elevator. According to him, it was “literally love at first sight.”
Buckley’s career as a fashion journalist began at New York Magazine in 1979. Before long, he became the editor for top fashion magazines, including Mirabella. He later became the editor-in-chief of Vogue Hommes International.

The 90’s fashion style rocked the world and is still a trend in the 21st century but mixed with recent designs. Liana Satenstein, a fashion news writer for Vogue, proved the effect of the 90’s creation in a recent article.
The article revealed that Satenstein had been collecting McCartney’s designs. Satenstein’s closet is filled with the designer’s legendary fruit T-shirts— with freaky hands cupping boobs or bananas shaped as creepy and pineapple in the center of the chest.
Stella McCartney’s earliest, raunchiest designs are coming back, as Bella Hadid will testify.
She described a spicy, off-the-shoulder top and some zodiac T-shirts explaining that McCartney’s time at Chloe “feels like what we need right now.” According to Satenstein, McCartney brought what women love into the fashion house.
