Mr. Trash Wheel holiday apparel now available online – – Baltimore Fishbowl

If you’re searching for the perfect holiday gift for a Mr. Trash Wheel fan, look no further.
A campaign to benefit the Trash Wheel family is now selling holiday sweatshirts and long-sleeve tee shirts online.
The shirts feature the phrase “all together for the holidays” and all four members of the Trash Wheel family: Mr. Trash Wheel, Professor Trash Wheel, Captain Trash Wheel, and Gwynnda the Good Wheel of the West. 
The sweatshirts are priced at $38, and the tee shirts cost $33. 
The Trash Wheel family, a collection of garbage interceptors that collect trash in Baltimore’s waterways, has so far collected 1,760.69 tons of trash and debris.
Just this week, Gwynnda the Good Wheel of The West collected 20 dumpsters worth of trash after a single storm, breaking Mr. Trash Wheel’s record of 16 dumpsters after a storm in 2017.

The trash wheel concept may soon spread to other cities in the U.S.
John Kellett, the inventor of Mr. Trash Wheel, is currently working on designs for trash wheels in Fort Worth, Panama City and Newport Beach. 
The Trash Wheel family is part of the Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore’s Healthy Harbor Initiative
All proceeds from the campaign will go directly to the Waterfront Partnership.
